Am I the only one sick of seeing celebrities apologizing because they used “The N Word”? Am I the only one sick of seeing celebrities in the news because of the things they say?
Duane Chapman had a phone call with his son in which he used “The N Word.” His son recorded the phone call and sold it to the National Enquirer. So much for Duane’s right to privacy. Also, so much for Duane’s right to free speech.
Duane doesn’t owe anyone an apology. If anybody should be apologizing it should be his son for recording the phone call and then using it to make a profit.
Keep the celebrity news on the E! network and out of the rest of the news media.
I’m just sick of the word, regardless of who uses it.
I am tired of the N word recieving so much publicity. That in my mind only gives it more weight and power. Growing up in SC we heard and used the word for different things. It rarely was towards someone because of color alone. The media and all it’s political correct bs can be flushed. It only last a moment until something else comes around. Like Imus getting back his show in which I say good for him. I might not like what he says all the time but that is what a power button is for. All I can say about Dog is .. poor guy! It must hurt that his own son would do that to him. His worst nightmare has come true. The very thing he was trying to protect against.
What happened in the past with people of color was really bad, but I don’t see why people are still having to pay for their relatives mistakes. You don’t see me causing a fuss about my native american relatives or all the harsh things that is still happening to them. A WORD is just that .. a word. What you do when you hear that word says more then another mouth full of words.
