Happy St. Patrick’s day to you!
Instead of hitting the local pubs (because they are very crowded and a bit pricey today) my family went out and bought my son his first gerbil. It’s black with a wee bit of white on it’s chest. Let’s just hope he manages to take care of it.

I’m about to go to work and I’m not too thrilled about it. Of course, I’m never too thrilled about it. Today it’s because my job has fleas. Fleas! Others have told management about this in the past but it’s always been blown off. Yesterday a couple of people that got bit by fleas filed [...]

I have finally seen the movie Into The Wild. I read the book when I first heard about the movie last year. The movie provides an interesting look into the last two years of a man that wanted to get away from society and technology. If you enjoy documentaries or the work of Jack London [...]
Walking The High Wire

There is a video clip that has gone around on both TV and the internet. It’s a high wire walker in South America walking the high wire. He’s an older gentleman and he doesn’t make the walk. About half way across the winds begin to rock him off balance. He squats down onto the wire [...]

The father of the modern adventure game, Gary Gygax, died Tuesday morning (03/04). Dungeons & Dragons has brought me countless hours of enjoyment over the years and I’m saddened to learn Gary Gygax has passed on. The next time you roll a 20, keep Gary in mind.

Oh how it sucks to be me. It’s been five hours since the “incident” and I’m still in pain.
So, what is the “incident?” It happened as I was finishing some yard work this afternoon and I was putting up the extension cord. I was coiling up the cord by wrapping it around my left arm [...]

King Of The World

I am just over 100 pages into the new Stephen King novel Duma Key. It has shades of The Dead Zone in it but I feel Duma Key will go off in a much different direction by the end of the book.
I’ve encountered two descriptions of blood and guts. One relating to the main character [...]
